Description
In 2020, Bentley Mulliner Collections unveiled an exclusive, one-off Continental GTC Equestrian Edition that symbolizes the aristocratic passion for horseback riding. When creating a unique convertible, the brand's specialists were inspired by the legendary Cheltenham racecourse, the site of the most exciting and prestigious event in the world of horse racing - the Cheltenham Festival.
To highlight the luxury Equestrian Edition's connection to the world of equestrian sport, Jackdaw Castle, Jonjo O'Neill's renowned state-of-the-art riding school, just 16km from Cheltenham Racecourse, was chosen for the shoot.
Externally, the convertible features a special herringbone green shade, dark chrome elements identical to the Blackline package, and 22-inch high-gloss wheels.
More exceptional interior details include embroidered rider silhouettes on the headrests, diamond-stitched tweed on the door panels, and Burr Walnut wood veneer on the dash and center console. The interior is designed in a brown-green color scheme, with both the front panel and the sides of the central tunnel trimmed in leather.
The Equestrian Edition convertible is based on the top version of the Continental GTC with a 6.0-liter 635-horsepower W12 engine.
The unique convertible is equipped with many of Bentley's latest driver assistance systems: from the Bentley Touring package - lane assist, adaptive cruise control, Bentley Safeguard Plus, night vision system, head-up display; Bentley City options include 360-degree view, traffic sign recognition, city traffic assist, pedestrian alert, rear cross-traffic alert, self-dimming rearview mirrors and touchless boot lid release.
