Callaway C4 Corvette Super Speedster LM
Description
In 1994, Callaway Cars introduced a one-off model, the C4 Corvette Super Speedster Le Mans. The car is based on the 1991 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 with an LT5 V8 engine. The power of which, after modifications and installation of turbochargers, increased to 750 hp.
In addition to the modified engine, the sports car received a completely redesigned suspension, racing brakes and much more.
The most noticeable changes were to the exterior, which was modified by Paul Deutschman. In addition to the Aerobody package and stunning Candy Wine Red paint, the sports car features a new Le Mans GT2-inspired front end and a removable hardtop with double bubbles.
Luxurious furnishings abounded with LM elements, which were distinguished by the unrivaled craftsmanship of Johann Merkhofer. Luxuriously trimmed in leather and suede with custom embroidered seats, it was equipped with comfort and convenience features including air conditioning and a Delco Bose stereo with CD.
