Geiger Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray

Description
Geiger Chevrolet Corvette C8 is a revision of the standard Chevrolet model. The changes did not affect the engine, but consisted of a minor addition to the appearance, replacing the wheels with a larger diameter and upgrading the suspension.
So, in appearance, the sports car received front and rear spoilers made of high-quality carbon prepreg, which have all the necessary certificates. During development, the focus was not only on appearance, but also on aerodynamics: the goal was to have sufficient downforce with the lowest possible aerodynamic drag to achieve advantages in longitudinal dynamics and maximum speed.
To further enhance the look, Geiger Cars has offered several sets of wheels from OZ Racing: for customers who mainly value the stylistic aspect, Leggera HLT alloy wheels in 20" front and 21" rear with Michelin tires in 245/30 R20 and 305/25R21. Drivers who enjoy using their C8 as a tool on the race track could opt for the 19-inch Ultraleggera for the front and 20 inches for the rear. They are 20 kilograms lighter than the original Corvette wheels. The reduction in unsprung weight, combined with the excellent grip of the Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R-Semi Slicks in the 245/35 R19 and 305/30 R20 models, ensured a significant improvement in road grip.
The sports suspension from GeigerCars, developed in collaboration with KW Suspensions, will be of interest to track lovers. The performance of the springs and dampers, as well as the optional Uniball support bearings, were tested on the track with the expert input of professional rider Daniel Keilwitz. As an alternative, GeigerCars offered the Variant 5 coilover kit, which was also developed in collaboration with KW. It is based on motorsport-famous piston technology and can be adjusted four times with 14 clicks each – in rebound and compression stages separately for the low and high speed range.
A stainless steel brace for the front axle ensures greater stability and support for the front shock mounts, promising more precise suspension damping response. The stainless steel struts in the engine bay, including the cross link, replaced the factory aluminum struts and provided even more torsional rigidity and stability.
Geiger Cars also offered brake upgrades for the Z51 series with sports brake pads. As an alternative, a complete AP Racing Track brake replacement was offered for the front and rear axles, each with 6-piston brake calipers on two-piece discs.
