Racing Dynamics R50 Tornado S (E46)
Description
The Racing Dynamics R50 Tornado S is a development of the BMW M3 (E46 body) and was shown at the 2001 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The V8 engine from the BMW M5 (E39) with performance tuning and forged pistons has received a power increase to 515 hp, resulting in improved vehicle dynamics: acceleration to 100 kph is reduced to 4.2 seconds, top speed is increased to 315 kph.
The car received a revised suspension, optimized by the Schirmer racing team with adjustable oil dampers with pressure distributors, a new exhaust system, brakes and three-piece 19-inch wheels with Yokohama tires that were specially developed for this car.
The body received a sports kit and a special paintwork Racing Dynamics Duoton.
