Vermot Veritas Concept
Description
In 2001, a group of enthusiasts who created the Vermot company introduced the Veritas, which means “truth” in Latin and resembles the RS racing car, which was produced by Veritas from August 1948 to March 1950.
A 6-liter V12 BMW engine with 670 hp was used as a power plant.
The brake system had ceramic disc brakes and 20-inch sports wheels, which, in combination with a lever independent suspension and adjustable shock absorbers, allowed the supercar to have handling at the level of Formula 1 cars.
The body was a tubular space frame, Kevlar upholstery and carbon elements, in addition to 4-point H-type seat belts, Recaro guaranteed passengers a high level of passive safety. The roadster was designed for only one person, but additional space for a passenger was provided under a removable metal panel.
