Aston Martin Victor

Aston Martin Victor is a supercar produced in honor of the British businessman Victor Gauntlett, who at the turn of the 70-80s, when sales fell to 150 cars, and the board of directors was ready to decide to close production and focus on the maintenance and restoration of Aston Martin cars brought the company out of the crisis. The Q division that produced the supercar was inspired by the 1977 Aston Martin V8 Vantage coupe.

Built in a single copy of the car is based on the units of the One-77 model, using components from more modern supercars Valkyrie and Vulcan. It was presented at the Concours d'Elegance at Hampton Court Palace in England.

The unique supercar was approved for public roads and cost the Belgian customer £4 million.

Mechanics

The power unit is atmospheric V12 with a volume of 7.3 liters, which, after being finalized by Cosworth, develops 848 hp. and 821 N∙m (it was 760 hp and 750 N∙m), and a Graziano six-speed manual gearbox. The latter received a dual cooling system and a full-spec AMR racing clutch. The customer of this supercar abandoned the automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

Double wishbone push rod suspension went to the supercar from Aston Martin Vulcan. Brakes carbon-ceramic six-piston Brembo on both axles (front discs with a diameter of 380 mm, rear – 360 mm) with the characteristics of the AMR Vantage GT4. Forged 20-inch wheels - with a central nut.

Exterior

The aerodynamics of the sports car has been worked out so carefully that at a speed of 160 kph, the plumage creates downforce that is one and a half times greater than that of the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 racing car. External panels and monocoque are made of carbon fiber and painted in Pentland Green. The dark green hue is recreated by the Q branch of the colors that were offered for models of the British brand in the 1970s.

Interior

Inside, bespoke supercar seats and instrument panel are trimmed in Conker Bridge leather, while headlining and door pillars are in cashmere. Solid walnut is used for the shift knob and interior trim, while the Victor steering wheel is a redesigned version of the Vulcan's motorsport unit. Also used carbon fiber, anodized aluminum and elements of milled and polished titanium.
