Bugatti

Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. (France) is an automobile manufacturer specializing in the production of luxury passenger cars. The company was founded by Ettore Bugatti in 1909, and in 1963 it was sold to Hispano-Suiza. In 1987, the rights to the Bugatti brand were bought by Italian businessman Romano Artioli and he founded Bugatti Automobili S.p.A. in Italy, but in 1995 the company was declared bankrupt. In 1998, the Volkswagen concern led by Ferdinand Piëch acquired the rights to the Bugatti brand. And by November 2021, the company became part of Bugatti Rimac, a joint venture between Rimac Automobili and Porsche AG.
